I was trying with the FWAG114 as I said and it just isn't working out. So the question (finally) is this: I would like to have another router be the wireless "AP" if I could since it could act as another firewall for the wired clients as well as bridge. It is older (had it for 4 years) and I can't seem to get the DIR-655 to "see it" wirelessly. The NetGear was the Wireless AP/Bridge/Router for the wireless clients (but it was connected to the LAN port and both were in the same room). I HAD a NetGear FWAG114 behind the DGL-4300 w/the Gaming router doing most of the filtering and the DHCP. (1.20) it works and I have only two comps w/Internet access since the others were all wired (5 total/3 wired + a printer) so the question becomes this: and have to have the Cable modem and router in a separate room. I also now have to go fully wireless (had partial WiFi setup)since I now have satellite T.V. Although it still lights and can be seen wirelessly, I have seen Mauser653's post and I have tried all types of boots as well as different power strips and still can't get into to the Config utility. I HAD a DGL4300 but I was trying to upgrade the Firm to 1.9 and I guess it is fried.
